Summer is slowly coming to an end… which means that your Erasmus or other summer internship is also ending soon. It doesn’t matter if it was your first time away from home or if you are a multiple Erasmus, the feeling is the same.

You had the best time of your life during the last 3, 6 or 12 months. You discovered a new way of living, you struggled with the local language, you made amazing friends, you partied like never before, and well, at some point you also probably studied for exams or worked to these melodies. However, your Erasmus is ending and you will no longer be living in this city you have been calling home for the past few months. It is probably one of the hardest goodbyes you ever had to face. Even if you are going back to your family and childhood friends, you know that it won’t be the same when you get back home. You will need some time to adapt.

We made a list of songs that you can listen to on your way home and that will bring back all the emotions you felt and memories you made during your Erasmus stay. Feel free to add these songs to your YouTube playlist. We hope you will enjoy these sentimental Erasmus throwback songs! Here we go..

Alone – Alan Walker

I Lived – One Republic

And We Danced – Macklemore x Ryan Lewis

See You Again – Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth

Without You – Avicii

Happy Ending – Mika
