How do I place an order for freight?

Click on “Request individual offer” and fill out the form with the required details. You will receive an e-mail from us with the final price for your freight transport.

Upon receiving the individual offer, you will be asked to confirm the order and make the payment through any of our payment methods (credit card, PayPal, bank transfer). The payment has to be made until 12.00 pm on the day preceding the pickup in order to forward your request to the courier service provider. If you wish to pay with a bank transfer, Eurosender needs to receive your confirmation of payment via e-mail at sales@eurosender.com until 12.00 pm.

The courier service provider will contact you directly in order to arrange the details of the pick-up.

 

 

B2B customers

1. If you are a business user and you hold a Eurosender business account, please Log in; if you are new on our website, please register on our B2B section;

2. Choose the option “Send new pallet” and fill out the form with the required details;

3. If your destination is “On request”, you will receive an e-mail from us with the final price for your freight transport;

4. Upon your confirmation and your payment, we will book the service for freight transport service with the selected courier service provider.

 

How should I prepare a pallet for shipping?

All items that are to be transported have to be properly secured for transportation, fixed on a nonskid and sturdy pallet or on any other base allowing to be handled by a fork-lift. The goods must be attached to the pallet in a way that assures their stability until reaching the destination. 

how to prepare a pallet The courier company may transport your pallet with multiple vehicles and handle it with forklifts and conveyor belts. Therefore, during carriage, your shipment may be prone to different shocks and impacts. In order to prevent any possible damages, along the transportation and during the manipulation in the local depots, we recommend you to:

  • Use cushioning material and rigid carton material;
  • Secure and block with braces any larger items or items with uncommon shape, which cannot be boxed or have a high risk of rolling; and,
  • Use load-protector trays, bands and stretch wrap film to secure the bundled load and protect the shipment.

 

What do I need to check before placing an order for transportation of pallets?

  • The pallet’s exact dimensions (height, width and length), without approximations;
  • The exact weight of the pallet, without approximations;
  • The total content and value of the shipment;
  • Whether the value of the goods shipped require purchase of additional insurance.

 

Do I need to assist the courier service provider to load/unload the shipment?

Depending on the weight and dimensions of your shipment, you may need to provide assistance to the courier driver when loading and unloading the shipment.

 

Where can I ship freight?

You can ship freight anywhere within EU countries, domestically and internationally.

 

Do I need to write the delivery address on the item?

No. You don’t need to write the delivery address. The messenger of the selected courier service provider will make the item label available upon pick-up.

Nonetheless, we recommend that you pack a copy of the order confirmation with all of the relevant details on top of your package, as this will make the locating and delivering of your pallet much easier in the unlikely event of damage or loss of the label.

 

Can I insure my freight shipment?

All pallets are insured according to the provisions of the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR Convention).
