Travellers flying with Flybe can carry inside the cabin, free of charge, one standard Flybe hand luggage with the size of 55 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm, which also includes wheels and handles, and also a small personal item like a handbag or laptop briefcase. This small bag has to fit under the seat in front of the passenger.
The combined weight of the cabin baggage and smaller personal item must not exceed 10 kg.
If the passenger needs to bring more baggage to the flight, he/she will need to purchase extra baggage.

The Flybe airline company considers sports equipment as “exceptional baggage items”. Sporting goods such as bikes, surfboards, skis, archery equipment, windboards and fishing equipment are all considered exceptional items and a fee of €40 or more applies to check them in. According to the Flybe baggage allowance for musical instruments, the passenger can take a musical instrument on a plane for an extra fee. The price depends on the dimensions of the musical instrument. For the large musical instruments, such as cello, the passenger has to buy a seat inside the cabin where they can accommodate the instrument. Violins can also be transported in the cabin if their maximum dimensions do not exceed 100 x 35 x 100 cm.
Larger or heavier instruments can only travel in the cargo hold area, subjected to a fee payment of 40€. This payment can only be processed through the Contact Center or at the airport.
