Terms & Conditions for Participation in the Eurosender Giveaway:
“Win a Free Move Valued at 1000 €”
ARTICLE 1: ORGANISER
The giveaway is organised by Eurosender d.o.o., Cesta v Gorice 34B, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”). The prize draw is not sponsored, endorsed or organised by Meta and published on the Organiser’s website.
ARTICLE 2: PURPOSE OF THE GIVEAWAY
The purpose of the giveaway is to encourage customers of Eurosender to visit the company’s website and to promote the services offered by the Organiser. By promoting the giveaway on Facebook and Instagram, the aim of the giveaway is also to engage and interact with users of the social networks Facebook and Instagram and to promote the services and offers of the Organiser.
ARTICLE 3: WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE PRIZE DRAW
The giveaway is valid for all participants who have a permanent or temporary residence in the European Union and are at least 18 years old on the day of the launch of the prize draw (26. 01. 2024).
ARTICLE 4: HOW TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY
To participate in the giveaway, the participant must visit a dedicated landing page created by the Organiser, answer the question on the landing page and leave their e-mail address. Additionally, to increase their chance of winning the giveaway, they can like the Organiser’s Facebook page, follow the Instagram profile, and tag a person in the comments on the post of 26. 01. 2024 on either Facebook or Instagram.
Purchase is not a condition for participation in the giveaway. Each participant can only participate in the giveaway with his/her own name, e-mail address and with his/her personal data. Members of the jury, employees of the Organiser, their immediate family members (spouse, civil partner or registered same-sex partner, children or adopted children, grandchildren, siblings and parents or adoptive parents of the employee) and all other legal and natural persons involved in the organisation of the giveaway or employees of companies in any way connected with the Organiser’s business may not participate in the giveaway.
ARTICLE 5: DURATION OF THE GIVEAWAY
Each participant may enter the prize draw at least once between 26. 01. 2024 and 19. 02. 2024 until 23:59.
ARTICLE 6: PRIZE
The main prize from the giveaway is subject to taxation as ordinary income, and the applicable tax is determined at the national level, varying according to the winner’s country within the European Union (EU). Winners may need to report the value of the prize to the tax authorities as part of their annual income declaration. The Organiser will deduct and pay the advance payment of income tax.
The main prize may not be claimed in large quantities. The winner of the giveaway is only entitled to the prize for which he/she has been drawn. Only one main prize will be awarded to the winner. No other prizes will be given away during the giveaway. The main prize cannot be exchanged for money or other items. The prize is non-transferable. The winner will win a free moving service in the value of 1000 EUR, redeemable as a one-time order for any Eurosender service. Valid until 31.12.2024.
The Organiser of the giveaway does not assume any costs other than those specified in the terms and conditions of this giveaway.
ARTICLE 7: PRIZE DRAW
The prize draw or selection of the giveaway winner will take place on the 20th of February 2024 at the headquarters of the Organiser – Eurosender d.o.o., Cesta v Gorice 34B, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. The draw will be conducted by computer and will not be public. The draw will be conducted by a three-member jury composed of representatives of the Organiser. A record of the draw will be drawn up and signed by all jury members.
The results of the draw or the awarding of the prizes are final.
ARTICLE 8: ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE WINNER AND ACCEPTANCE OF PRIZES
The winner will be informed of their prize on the day of the draw through his/her e-mail address. The winner has eight (8) days to respond and claim their prize. Failing to do so means waving any rights to the prize. Non-winners will not be notified via their e-mail address or in any other form of contact.
ARTICLE 9: LIMITATION OF THE ORGANISER’S LIABILITY
By taking part in this giveaway, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions below apply to every giveaway unless stated differently. The Organiser accepts no legal, moral or material liability whatsoever arising out of the prize or the giveaway or for any damage arising as a result of the acceptance and use of the prize.
The Organiser of the giveaway shall not be liable if the winner is unable to claim or use the prize due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control.
The participants of the giveaway are responsible for their own costs of participation in the prize draw (costs incurred for the use of the Internet, costs of downloading data from the Internet, etc.).
ARTICLE 10: PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
The Organiser processes personal data for the purpose of awarding the prize, informing the winner of the giveaway and sending promotional e-mails and newsletters. Participants’ full personal details will only be used to contact them directly and for promotional purposes of the Organiser. Your information is not sold nor given away to any third parties.
The personal data of the participants in the giveaway is protected in accordance with the applicable legislation and the general acts of the giveaway Organiser in the field of personal data protection and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union (EU).
In order to receive the prize, the winner of the giveaway must provide the Organiser with the following personal data: name, surname and e-mail address. The Organiser will use the information received solely and exclusively for the purpose of sending the prize and offering promotional messages. The personal data will be processed by the Organiser as long as it is necessary for the purposes of awarding the prize and until the winner of the giveaway unsubscribes from receiving the promotional offers or messages sent via e-mail.
The participant in the giveaway may cancel his/her participation at any time and request access to, copy, complete, correct, block and deletion of personal data and lodge a complaint. These rights and the procedures for protection and processing are set out in more detail in the General Data Protection Regulation, which is available on the Eurosender Platform website.
Participants may withdraw their consent to be entered into the giveaway at any time by contacting help@eurosender.com.
ARTICLE 11: DISPUTES AND COMPLAINTS
The Organiser of the giveaway shall resolve all complaints and claims. In the event of justified complaints, the Organiser undertakes to resolve them as soon as possible and to inform the participant accordingly.
ARTICLE 12: FINAL PROVISIONS
By participating in the giveaway, the participant hereby expressly declares that he/she is aware of and agrees to the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions come into force on the day of the start of the giveaway, i.e. 26. 01. 2024.
These rules are subject to change in the event of a change in regulations, their interpretation or for other valid reasons. The Organiser will inform participants of any changes to the rules by posting them on the Eurosender website.
