Blue Air cabin baggage
Cabin baggage, often referred to as accompanied baggage, defines the piece of luggage that passengers can place in the compartment above their seats or under the seat in front of them.
According to Blue Air baggage policy, additional fees for oversized or overweight cabin baggage are applied. Blue Air baggage allowance for cabin baggage states that such item should not measure more than 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and can weigh up to 10 kg
Blue Air checked baggage
Blue Air baggage policy allows the passenger to put a maximum of four pieces of luggage into the cargo hold. The luggage must:
- have 20 or 32 kg per piece, depending on what was booked
- measure up to 100 cm x 80 cm x 30 cm
Blue Air checked baggage fees vary from destination to destination, so the passengers are suggested to check the prices for the chosen destination and see what checked baggage fees are applicable in their case.
Blue Air excess baggage
Excess baggage defines the additional pieces of luggage a passenger can purchase or an increased weight limit of already purchased luggage.
If the luggage does not meet Blue Air baggage allowance in terms of weight and dimensions, the passenger will be charged an additional urgent luggage fee of €65 per luggage per passenger per flight at the airport.

Blue Air sports equipment fees
Blue Air baggage allowance includes taking various sports equipment on flight when travelling, such as golf, skiing or water skiing equipment. Blue Air baggage policy states that a fee of €30 per flight is applicable if the equipment does not exceed 32 kg.
Moreover, if the passenger is planning to take a bicycle on flight, a fee of €25 per flight is charged.
|Other equipment weighing up to 32 kg||€30|
Blue Air baggage policy states that musical instruments can be transported either in the cabin or in the hold.
If the passenger wants to take an instrument on board, Blue Air baggage policy states that the item must be smaller than 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm and cannot weigh more than 10 kg. However, a larger musical instrument can also go in the cabin, but a seat needs to be allocated and paid for it. When carried in the passenger's seat, the weight of the instrument usually must not exceed 80 kg, and its size must not exceed 135 cm х 50 cm х 30 cm.
The instrument can also be checked in as hold baggage, however, it needs to be properly packed and protected.
