So, how does it work? We have developed a system that automatically calculates final prices for every individual shipping route. For standard shipping services, the price doesn’t vary within the same country. However, in the case of freight transport, the prices might also vary within a country as these differ depending on the postcode.

If you are interested in booking the shipping services through our platform, you can directly check the prices. You also have the option to create a free personal or a company account. Why? Because in this way, we can offer you special prices and the exclusive pre-paid solution.

The booking process will then take just a few minutes. For example, if you want to send a package to Bulgaria, all you have to do is:

  • Insert the information details about the address and your package in our engine;
  • Select the payment method and complete the order by paying for the services.

Once you complete the above steps, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the order details. Keep in mind that, in case, your shipment is not suitable for standard shipping to Bulgaria, we can offer you an individual offer.

Additional Information

Transit information – courier to Bulgaria

In the confirmation e-mail you will also find a tracking number. This number is used to track your shipment online. The process is quite simple: the tracking system gets updated every time your parcel is scanned at a new depot or location. Of course, you can only have data if the parcel has already been collected by the courier company. If it is still in your hands, there won’t be any information displayed in the system.

If the same messages appear for more than 48 hours, we would recommend you to contact us.

Label and paperwork – courier to Bulgaria

All parcels shipped to Bulgaria must carry a shipping label, regardless of whether or not you write the information directly on the parcel. The shipping label is issued by the courier company in charge of the transportation. It displays the name and address of the sender as well as of the recipient, the shipment details (size, the total weight, the number of pieces etc.), the information on the type of service, the description of the content, tracking number and barcodes that enable the correct handling of the shipment by the courier services. Keep in mind that, although the information that needs to be displayed is always the same, each logistics provider uses its own template. If your package will be collected in Bulgaria, you are not required to print the label yourself.

Delivery considerations for courier services to Bulgaria

Things to remember or to pay attention to when booking courier services to Bulgaria:

  • Postal codes – Bulgarian postal codes have four digits, with no separator characters.
  • Name on the doorbell – In some rural areas, there might be no numbers and no names on the doorbells.
  • Any changes or amendments to the order or in the address after the parcel was already collected, may lead to delivery delays.
  • Checking the integrity of the shipment, when the goods arrive in Bulgaria – Otherwise, it might be hard to claim any damages, at a later stage.

Additional considerations:

Our services are door-to-door, thus, you can select the address from which the courier driver will pick-up your items.

Tips to ensure a successful delivery:

  • Check the transit information to see when the parcel approaches its destination.
  • Have someone at the address at the delivery time;
  • Make sure you are reachable in case the courier decides to call;
  • If the courier decides to call, only local phone numbers can be contacted.

Clearing Bulgarian customs

There are no charges or customs to be paid for imported goods from within the European Union. However, that does not apply for imports to Bulgaria from outside the EU. Each country has different import restrictions and charges, and it’s your responsibility as the shipper to research this prior to sending your parcel.

In case you are planning to send alcohol to Bulgaria, for example, a bottle of Ouzo from Greece, you need to be informed about the European regulations concerning shipping alcohol. You can learn more by visiting our blog.
