Slide the stove out of its corner, placing a moving mat or cardboard on the floor to avoid scratches.

It is possible to transport a stove on its back, but it is preferable to move it standing upright or laying on its side. This is because all the electric cords and gas connectors are placed in the back of the stove, so it would be best to avoid transporting it on its back if possible.

There is a greater risk of damage when transporting a stove face down, as this is the most sensitive part of the appliance. You would potentially damage the oven door, the handle, the buttons, etc.

How to load a stove into a truck?

If you have the right equipment, the safest way to load a stove into a moving van or truck is by using a forklift. However, we understand most homeowners do not have easy access to such equipment.

In this case, the easiest way of loading your stove into the truck would be to place a ramp in the back of the truck and push the appliance up with a dolly. To be on the safe side, we recommend having two people helping to load the stove – one in the front and another in the back.

Can Eurosender provide any tools for loading the stove into the truck or van?
