Wizz Air cabin baggage

Cabin baggage, often referred to as accompanied baggage, is a piece of luggage that can be taken on board and is placed in the overhead compartment or under the front passenger seat.

Wizz Air baggage policy has recently been changed and Wizz Air cabin baggage allowance now permits the passengers to take an item measuring up to 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm and weighing up to 10 kg on board free of charge. Previously, this item could be taken on board free of charge only if they purchased Wizz Priority.

Wizz Air hand luggage

Hand luggage is a small bag, a laptop bag or a purse that can be taken on board besides the cabin baggage free of charge.

Wizz Air hand luggage policy allows a piece of hand luggage for all passangers on board free of charge.

Wizz Air checked baggage fee

Wizz Air check in baggage allowance permits the passengers to purchase up to six items of checked baggage, weighing no more than 10, 20 or 32 kg each. Wizz Air check in baggage cannot be larger than:

Wizz Air excess baggage

Excess baggage defines the additional pieces of luggage a passenger can purchase or an increased weight limit of already purchased luggage.

Wizz Air baggage price for any additional pieces of checked-in baggage purchased at the airport is €10 per kg. This fee is due at the airport if a bag weighs between 20 kg and 32 kg.

Wizz Air musical instruments policy

The passenger can bring a musical instrument case on board which has a maximum length of 80 cm. Other dimensions of the case must not exceed 40 cm x 23 cm.

If the instrument, including its case, does not exceed the dimensions of 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm and the weight of 10 kg, Wizz Air baggage policy states it can be carried as cabin baggage.

Musical instruments that do not fit the above dimensions and cannot be transported as checked-in baggage can be carried on an aircraft seat after purchasing an additional ticket.
