How to prepare a pool table for transport

The pool table frame is very heavy, so make sure there are enough people to help with preparation.
Dismantle the table as much as possible. Label each dismantled part to facilitate reassembly later.

Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts for each rail.
Remove the felt by lightly pulling it backwards or taking out the stables.
Fold the felt to ensure it is flat and will not wrinkle.
Unscrew the slate by taking out the screws around the edge of the table with a power drill.
Wrap the slate in a moving blanket.
Remove the table legs by unscrewing each one carefully.
Cover the smaller removed parts in bubble wrap and pack separately in boxes or moving blankets.

We offer two types of vans for moving pool tables across Europe:

Box van: 465 x 165 x 180 cm or 13 cubic metres and 1000 kg capacity
Curtain-side van: 410 x 210 x 230 cm or 19 cubic metres and 1000 kg capacity (with tail-lift only 700 kg)
