What does a parcel scan at the carrier hub mean?

Once the parcel reaches the hub, the label is scanned, and the shipment is sorted depending on the route and carriers’ schedules. The parcel will be then loaded in the truck to be transported to the next hub or the final destination.

The tracking of the shipment records all the times the parcel is scanned at the hub.
