BPost offers a series of courier services to ship international parcels up to 30 kg to and from Belgium. The price of shipping with BPost depends on three main factors: the weight and size of the parcel, the country of destination and the type of service.

Besides being the main courier company for deliveries of letters and packages within Belgium, BPost also offers international parcel delivery services to almost any country in the world. The prices for shipping within the EU are standardised, but users are able to calculate the BPost shipping prices for any destination using their website. How long does BPost take to deliver international parcels?

BPost offers a variety of parcel delivery services, each one with its own delivery times and schedules. For international shipments, the BPost delivery time is up to 10 working days. In practice, this estimation is usually extended to around 15 working days once you consider the time required for the package to go through customs.

For urgent shipments, BPost offers an international express parcel delivery option with reduced delivery time. The service called BPost World Express aims to have parcels delivered within 5 working days around the world.

How can I track and trace parcels sent with BPost?
When you are shipping with BPost, you will receive a BPost tracking number that will allow you to locate your parcel during transit. You can find the BPost tracking number under the barcode on the shipping label. To locate your parcel, simply introduce the tracking number on the BPost track and trace section on the website or the app. For extra security, you will also have to give the destination postal code.
Once you have introduced both numbers, you will find the tracking status of your BPost parcel on the screen. This status will be updated every time the parcel is scanned at a new depot or shipping hub. If the BPost tracking status does not change in a few days, we recommend that you contact the company directly.
What does it mean if my parcel status says ’your international parcel is ready to be handled by BPost’?
If you get the message that your international parcel is ready to be handled by BPost, it means that the carrier you have shipped with uses Belgian Post for last-mile delivery in Belgium. Once you get this status, it means that the parcel is being transferred from the initial logistics provider to BPost, and it should be delivered shortly.
Can I ship letters with BPost?
Yes, customers can ship letters with BPost within Belgium and from Belgium to the EU and the rest of the world. However, it is important to note that, due to the low volume of letters being sent within the country, BPost decided to deliver letters only twice a week. What are the BPost delivery days?
In most cases, BPost parcels will be delivered on weekdays. Even though it is not standard practice, there are some exceptions in which BPost will deliver parcels on the weekend.
However, it is important to note that deliveries to BPost parcel pick-ups are done exclusively during weekdays.
In which cases does BPost deliver on weekends (Saturdays or Sundays)?
BPost may deliver parcels during the weekend (either Saturday or Sunday) from clients that hold specific contracts. There are some stores or web shops that have specific agreements with BPost for this service. BPost deliveries on Saturdays are done between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and on Sundays between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Does BPost have parcel lockers?
BPost has a parcel locker service to send and receive packages. This service is available in Belgium and allows customers to send and receive parcels without giving a personal address. Parcels shipped via BPost parcel locker must have the following measurements:

What is BPost international?
BPost international is simply the service through which BPost manages its international deliveries. Whenever booking an international parcel delivery with BPost, you will have to arrange this service with the international branch of the company.
What is BPost pick-up?
BPost pick-up is a special shipping service that allows customers to organise delivery from a BPost Pick-up point in Belgium, France or the Netherlands. With this service, customers can ship up to 500 kg in multiple parcels, with a maximum weight of 30 kg per parcel.

Are shipments insured when shipping with BPost?
BPost has different insurance policies in place for different services and items shipped. When shipping registered mail, for example, the user has the option of purchasing customised insurance coverage for an additional price.

What can I do if I missed my BPost delivery?
It depends on your shipping preferences. If you missed your BPost parcel delivery and did not provide an alternative, such as taking the parcel to a neighbour’s address or allowing it to be taken to a BPost pick-up point, the courier will leave a note indicating the problem. Your parcel will be taken to the closest BPost pick-up point, from which you can retrieve it during the next 14 working days.
