GLOSSARY
The Negotiated Rate Agreement (NRA) ensures that all the rates are regulated and accepted before shipping.
The NRA is a document between the shipper and a licenced Non-Vessel-Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) and is regulated by the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC). This agreement lists the rates for the number of goods to be shipped, from the origin to the destination.
