Proof of Delivery (POD)
The Proof of Delivery (or POD) is a document signed upon delivery and used to attest the parcel arrived at its destination.
What does Proof of Delivery mean?
The Proof of Delivery can be a paper or an electronic document used to prove that the parcel reached its destination in good condition and that the recipient accepted it. The POD contains the following information:
- Time and date of delivery
- Name of the recipient
- Their signature
