The safest way to ship a skateboard is by dismantling it as much as possible to avoid any damage from impact during transit. However, if this is not possible, you can still ship your skateboard with the wheels attached, provided that you pack it properly. If this is your case, make sure to add a good amount of packaging around the wheels to make them secure and unable to move around.
With courier companies, you can ship your electric skateboard the same way as a regular skateboard. The biggest difference would be that shipping an electric skateboard may require a different service since this item is usually bigger and heavier.

The best shipping box for sending a skateboard by courier is the item’s original package. However, if you no longer have it, you can also ship your skateboard using another cardboard box as long as it is strong and sturdy to withstand the weight of your item. Regarding the size, know that the box should be slightly bigger than the skateboard deck so you are able to protect it with cushioning materials, but not so big that the item would be too loose inside.
